Unlock The Gates

You walk along a corridor,
Some keys hang at your side
The doors are almost visible,
Its now you must decide.

Some doors are locked for reasons,
That only you must know,
Dark doors lie further on,
The halls outside them glow.

You locked them for a reason,
To shut out all the pain,
Some fleeting like the winter sun,
Other constant, as summer rain.

And so you journey onwards
Down the twisting turning path,
But some doors hide your darkest fears
Some hold your fiercest wrath.
