The ArachniThe legend of the Arachni is sad as it is beautiful. They were once a great people, their empire spreading far as the eye can see. Theirs was a peaceful rule, maintaining it through diplomacy and trade. Their technology was second to none. Also their armies were the best equipped and trained, having never lost against any army foolish enough to face them, nor did they lose any of these soldiers in battle or old age. Many of the citizens of their shining capital Golden Orbis were trained in the ways of battle so if need be, the city could be defended by the women and children. However, to any outsider it would seem to be a perfect existence, eThe Arachni
Wake Me UpHe wanders down the crowded streets, Head down and music blaring, People see him, quickly look away, But he is far from caring.Wake Me Up
For he is in his own world, Where he is the only one, Everyone has left him now, They used him till they were done.
They label him a loser, Because he won’t conform, Whilst his body was untainted, Piercings, drugs and drinks were norm.
And so he wanders onwards, Enduring the taunts and stares, But he’s put in a coma now, Away from earthly needs or cares.
Dying Time's HereYou stand beside his sickbed, His hand you hold to tightly, He’s status remains unchanged, But you stay there day and nightly.Dying Time's Here
You pray long for a miracle, For God to show His hand, But He maintains his poker face, And tells you not of his “Great Plan”
The tears they do flow freely, Slowly sliding down your face, They smudge and mar your makeup, But you don’t care for the disgrace.
And so he takes his last breath, As she cries all through the day, She cannot forgive God yet, But someday soon, she may
